Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, you will be picked up by our local staff then transfer to Kumai for boarding on the boat. The boat is a traditional wooden boat we called“Klotok “ about 12 m by 2,5 m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by.The guide team are including a boatman, a cook, and expert guide.You will cruise the river and observe several kinds of birds such as Rhinoceros Hornbill, Oriental Pied ornbill, Pink headed pigeon, Lasser coucal, Stork Bill Kingfisher and accosionally you will find a Storm stork ( cinconia stormi) an endanger species that still found in Tanjung Puting National Park, besides see other creature such as Proboscis Monkey (Nasalis Larvatus) Long Tail Macacaque (Macacaque Fasicularis ), Silver Langur. Lunch and dinner will be provided on boat, overnight on boat. ( L )

n the early morning before having breakfast, you will have several times to do bird watching and find several kinds of bird in this station. You will observe some birds such as flower Pecker, White and yellow bull-bull. Then return to the boat for breakfast and continue up river to Camp Leakey. Please bring a good binocular and field guide book for birds. Upoarrival at Camp Leakey you will have time for trek through the canopy forest and see feeding time at 2 o’clock. At this occasionally you will have a lots time to take pictures of the orangutan as much as you like till orangutan leave for nesting. Overnight on boat (L, D, B)

In the early morning start to do birds watching at Pondok Tanggui (a new rehabilitation centre for orphaned orangutans) see feeding time at 9 o’clock where you will have a time to see orangutans are being fed as they get an additional foods, late afternoon visit traditional village and sightseeing surrounding and see their life style. Sail down to the river to see firefly around the nipa palm and overnight on boat. (L, D, B)

After breakfast sail down to Kumai then drive to Pangkalan Bun city tour on Arut River then see birds market and souvenir shop then transfer to airport to catch your next flight. (B)
