Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, you will be picked up by our local staff then Transfer To Kumai for boarding on the boat. The boat is a traditional wooden boat its called“Klotok “ about 12 m by 2,5 m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by.The guide team includes the boatman, a cook, and expert guide.You will cruise the river and observe the proboscis monkey (Nasalis Larvatus) Long Tail Macaque ( Macacaque Fasicularis), silver langur And some.birds. After breakfast visit Pondok Tanggui ( a new reaabilitation centre for orphaned orangutan) short trek to the jungle then process up river to Camp Leakey ( the oldest rehabilitation centre was built in 1971) by Dr. Birute Galdikas and Rod Brindamor where the orangutans are Introduced into the wild. On the way yo may see oter primates such as Proboscis Monkey, Long Tailed Macaque, and other birds around the river. Late afternon at 2 pm see the rehabilitated orangutan are given additional foods at feeding station, then we sail down the river and see fiefly around the nipa palm and overnight at Blue Kecubung Hotel in Pangkalan Bun ( L,B,D)

After breakfast transfer to boat stage board on the speedboat. Please cover your Valuable things with dry bags and put suntan lotion for sun protection. We recommended please bring your soft earplugs as the sound of speedboat is so noisy. You will board on the speedboat on the Arut River before change the Lamandau River. On the way you will pass some villages along the Lamanadau river,logging company and some rapids. Stop at the village for lunch.Upon arrival at Bokunsu Village around 4 hours take a speedboat,check in at long house as your accommodation.After dinner they will ring one of the music intrument to gather people for the party we called “ Hornbill Dance “ lots of people will join this party and you will be welcoming as like a King and a Queen. You will be pleased sit on the top of the gong, and two men sit next to you and give scrafies have prepared in antique plate and some other thing as an offering for the sacral ceremony. After the ritual ceremony has done then two dayak men and two women wear the uniform. They come to everyone who are in the ceremony for shake hand as like they need permission for start to dance.while people are dancing someone bring a cup of rice wine they offer you to drink it. After breakfast sightseeing around the village and see their life style. And if you want to buy some souvenirs are available at this village, and then boating down to Arut River to Pangkalan Bun. Lunch at Kotawaringin if we have enough time visited the old Kotawaringin palace that was built by Moslems Missionary in 14th century. Return to Pangkalan Bun and check in Blue Kecubung Hotel for your accommodation. (L, B, D)
