Dayak people of Loksado used to get the bamboo rafting for carrying their commodities to sell in Kandangan town on the down river. There was no road connected to the town, so this unique transportation is the best choice, despite trekked back home for two days. Nowadays, they are no longer use itto carry their forest revenue but only selling the bamboos in town. Getting this bamboo rafting adventure makes you experience the effort of the inland people to sustain their living by rafting and maneuvering through thrilling rapids while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the tropical forest and exotic animals which are showing up occasionally along the riverside.

Tour Itenary :

Day 01 ARRIVAL IN BANJARMASIN

Meet at airport and directly transfer to hotel for check in. Next, exploring Banjarese river civilization by taking an afternoon canal sightseeing. Afterwards, return to hotel for overnight. Free at your own leisure.

Day 02 FLOATING MARKET – PANDAK DAUN – LOKSADO

Early in the morning, we will leave to floating market for exploring the unique culture of Banjarese that trade commodities from boat to boat, then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin River while sightseeing people activities at riverside. Breakfast at hotel, then continue our trip to visit Pandak Daun swamp village for observing water buffaloes swim to the stall and villagers' unique activities as well as enjoying the romantic sunset outlook. Afterwards, proceed to Loksado for overnight on lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 03 BAMBOO RAFTING – BANJARMASIN

After breakfast, we will do soft trekking to Dayak village for exploring the longhouse, rainforest, and the waterfall nearby the village. Next, we will take an adventure trip of bamboo rafting across beautiful landscape of tropical rainforest along the riverside meanwhile our coach will be waiting on the downstream for driving to Banjarmasin for overnight on hotel. Day 04 DEPARTURE

Free at your own leisure till the proper time for transferring to airport for your next destination. (B)
